The Friends of John Garner Museum is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization dedicated to supporting the John Nance Garner Museum.


Our Mission

The mission of the Friends of John Garner Museum is to provide support to the John Nance Garner Museum for education and experiences in Texas and American History.

 

The Friends of John Garner Museum actively participate in fundraising activities for the Museum.  The partnership between the Friends and the John Nance Garner Museum allows the museum to leverage limited public funds through matching grant opportunities.

 

The John Nance Garner Museum is located at 333 North Park Street in Uvalde, Texas.  The museum is a division of the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History, a special collections library, archive, and museum at The University of Texas at Austin.  Visit the Center's website:   www.cah.utexas.edu & www.cah.utexas.edu/divisions/Garner.html .
