The Concrete Beam . . .Following the on-site fabrication of the steel frame, the plywood form for the future concrete beam was built. The new beam, when completed will extend down and catch the edge of the footer (shown on the page labeled "Foundation Problems"). Below are photos of the form being built and a close up of the form ready for the concrete pour.
